We are currently hiring a Regional CT Tech Supervisor for our Saint Alphonsus Health System, with the only Trauma II center in the valley.

As the CT Supervisor, you will lead the operational programs and procedures within medical imaging and coordinate with the imaging department director. Your responsibilities include developing educational programs for medical imaging technologists, maintaining materials, equipment and patient databases, and overseeing the modality budgeting process. You will also provide education oversight and patient care duties, assist the director in quality control and performance improvement initiatives, and supervise all medical imaging staff.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Certification by the Board of American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) as a registered technologist required. Other board registries (ARDMS, SNMMI, etc.) in medical imaging may be considered as replacement for ARRT.

  • Must currently hold or be eligible in obtaining an Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) within 90 days of hire.

  • Must maintain an active and unrestricted Medical Imaging License issued by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) while in role.

  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS or as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.

  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience and also demonstrate leadership expertise.

  • Experience in teaching/training in a clinical setting preferred. Project planning and presentation, financial data interpretation, budgeting skills, statistical analysis experience preferred.
