Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Recreation Attendant to join our team and ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests. Responsibilities include complying with all safety standards, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills, and greeting guests in a welcoming manner. The role involves inspecting equipment daily, completing operational checklists and reports, and properly harnessing and removing harnesses for guests. Additionally, the Attendant will inform management of any maintenance needs, guide guests on activities such as the Williwaw and Canopy Tour, and ensure adherence to training manual procedures. They will also be responsible for evacuating participants when necessary and providing a friendly atmosphere for guests. Furthermore, the Attendant will operate the Williwaw Dual Racing Zip as part of a team and supervise other summer activities including the kid's go-kart park, archery, adventure playground, tubing, rentals, and slopeside climbing wall. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be proficient in guiding activities, and prioritize guest safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

 Comply with all safety standards, at all times. Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and customer service skills. Greet guests in a welcoming manner. Inspect Williwaw daily, including guide and guest equipment. Complete Daily Operations Check List, Daily Report , Equipment Use Log and Near Misses/Incidents Properly harness and remove harnesses Inform MOD of any maintenance needs on the Williwaw. Guide guests on the Williwaw, and demonstrate proficiency in skills required to guide. Ensure that all procedures covered in the Training Manual are followed. Respond when necessary to evacuate participants from the Williwaw. Provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for Williwaw/Canopy Tour guests. Operate the Williwaw Dual Racing Zip as part of a team. Monitor and supervise other summer activities including the kid's go-kart park, archery, adventure playground, tubing, rentals and slopeside climbing wall.

Qualifications

 Must be comfortable working at heights of 50+ feet Experience in the ski industry, outdoor education, recreation management, high angle ropes courses, and/or interpretive/educational programming preferred. Must have excellent communication, organization, leadership and customer service skills.
