ManpowerGroup Data Collection Technician in Burlingame, California

Our client, is seeking a Data Collection Technician to join their team. As a Data Collection Technician, you will be part of the AR/VR Product Data Operations team supporting the development of avatar technologies. The ideal candidate will have excellent people skills, superior analysis capabilities, and a technical mindset, aligning successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Data Collection Technician

Location: Onsite - Burlingame

Pay Range: $25/hour

What’s the Job?

  1. Conduct internal research studies, including participant sourcing, guiding through study procedures, and collecting data while maintaining confidentiality.

  2. Generate consistent reports, identifying trends and issues observed during data collections.

  3. Provide continuous and closed feedback loops for both internal and external collection teams to drive project success.

  4. Recruit internal participants through canvassing, posting, and other recruitment practices.

  5. Support training and improvement of external and internal teams, conducting weekly QA audits, and authoring guidelines for clarity.

What’s Needed?

  1. Bachelor's degree in technology or behavioral science (e.g., human-computer interaction, psychology, statistics, cognitive science, information systems).

  2. Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload independently.

  3. Excellent people, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

  4. Superior analysis, research, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  5. Proficiency in spreadsheet software (Google Sheets/Excel).
