Sutter Health Manager Intensive Care Unit in Burlingame, California

Position Overview:

The Nurse Manager is responsible and accountable for the clinical and administrative management of the nursing care provided to patients within the designated units of his/her responsibility optimal and consistent nursing care; collaboration intra and inter-departmentally; and to provide a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families. The ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and the Patients’ Bill of Rights is integrated into nursing practice.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education/Experience:

A Registered Nurse who has a B.S.N., a Masters in Nursing or other related field is preferred.

Current Registered Nurse licensed in State of California.

ACLS & BLS

Minimum Field-of-Expertise:

Five years experience in a ICU/CCU l

Two years experience as a Charge Nurse in a ICU/CCU

Management experience preferred
