Sutter Health Respiratory Care Practitioner in Castro Valley, California

Position Overview:

Assesses, provides, and documents respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physician, according to establish standards and practices. Performs tasks which require a substantial amount of scientific knowledge and technical skill.


Minimum Education: Graduate of accredited 2 year program in Respiratory Therapy or graduate of accredited 1 year program and successful completion of special skills assigned by Director of Cardiopulmonary Department

Minimum Experience: Familiarity with usual equipment and Therapy used in Respiratory Care

Licensure/Certification: CA Resp. Care license; CPR cert; National Board Resp. Care Registered RRT, or Certified CRTT w/spec. skill
