The University of Chicago\'s Adult Epilepsy Center in the Department of Neurology at the University of Chicago is seeking board certified/board eligible epileptologists to join its department at 100% clinical effort with renewable two-year terms. The Neuroscience program continues to expand to cover Northwest Indiana where UChicago plans to open a 2-bed epilepsy monitoring unit and a multi-specialty outpatient facility in Crown Point. In addition, it is anticipated that the appointees will participate in the remote EEG service to partnering hospitals. The appointees will join the Center\'s existing group of epileptologists, neurosurgeons, and neuroscientists at University of Chicago Medicine. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent on qualifications.

Appointees will join a growing neurosciences service line, which includes the opportunity to practice at University of Chicago\'s expanding clinical locations both in and outside of our main campus in Hyde Park. Appointees will participate in clinical, educational, and research activities, including outpatient clinic, inpatient service, and involvement with fellow, resident, and medical student education. The Adult Epilepsy Center includes an inpatient epilepsy monitoring unit, intraoperative monitoring, and outpatient and inpatient EEG.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) have completed a residency program in neurology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, 3) be fellowship trained in Epilepsy and/or Clinical Neurophysiology, including advanced EEG monitoring and surgical evaluation, 4) be board certified or eligible in neurology, and 5) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois.

To be considered, those interested must apply through The University of Chicago\'s Academic Recruitment job board, which uses Interfolio to accept applications: http://apply.interfolio.com/127483. Applicants must upload a CV and cover letter. Review of applications ends when the positions are filled.
