UC Health is hiring a full-time Senior Sonographer for the Cardiology Department at UC Health's Medical Arts Building. The Senior Sonographer will support UC Medical Center's Cardiology Lab by delivering high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs, established standards of care and according to policy and procedures. • Associate's Degree required.
• Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers with advanced certifications.
• Current BLS Certification.

Clearly communicates initial treatment and continuation of care to patient and family members while identifying potential physical/psychological limitations and deploying intervention as needed.

Perform all aspects of the Sonography specialty area which includes reviewing for appropriateness, completeness of patient histories, completing exam to charging, and explaining procedures to patients.

Oversees the schedule of the particular area/department/modality and optimizes the use of equipment and staff to most effectively serve patients and physicians.
