Billing Specialist II

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Billing Specialist

Work location: 800 5 th Avenue – Suite 500 Fort Worth, Texas 76104

Work environment: Office Setting

Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly; Monday thru Friday, (8:00am – 5:00pm)

Here’s What You Need:

· High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)

· Two years of Billing experience in a healthcare environment (REQUIRED)

· Two years of Neurosurgery and Neurocritical Care Billing experience; including CPT Coding Knowledge (STRONGLY PREFERRED)

What You Will Do:

· Coordinate copies of medical documentation with physician charges to support billing to third-party payers

· File and enter billing for patients into system and analyze patient accounts to ensure billing is accurate

· Resolve routine patient billing inquires and problems, handle follow-up questions from patients, resolve discrepancies or errors

· Review medical coding as necessary and enters patient charges into billing applications
