Conagra Safety Coordinator in Darien, Wisconsin

You will work on-site at one of Conagra's largest manufacturing facilities with over 800 employees.

Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator provides support to safety in areas, but not limited to, safety key concepts, safety file plan, safety audits, safety training, preparation and scheduling, Brady 360 lockout tagout, safety policies and procedures. You will process and coordinate a variety of EHS paperwork. You will gather information and prepare reports. You will assist EHS manager and Safety Lead to promote Conagra's Safety Culture. Maintains and distributes safety communications. Minimum 2 years related safety experience.

Position Responsibilities

  • You willl manage annual safety file plan for the facility.

  • You will provide administrative assistance to safety key concepts tracking and reporting.

  • You will oversee all Safety Audit, tracking, corrective actions, and the communication of audit results.

  • You will share safety information and conduct a variety of safety training sessions.

  • You will coordinate the compilation of required OSHA incident reports and ensure food safety standards are followed as a result of such incident-related experience.

  • You will provide follow up communication to internal and external customers to ensure satisfaction, including documenting customer contact information and notes.

  • You will provide EHS administrative support.

  • You will attend all cell DDS meetings and be a resource for safety for each cell and support departments

  • You will identify, suggest, documents and implement ongoing process improvements.

  • You will collaborate within a team to share ideas, ownership, and accountability for driving improvements and consistency of execution for key Safety processes.

Additional Job Description:

  • High school diploma, plus 2 years+ experience in Safety required. Bachelor's degree in applicable field, preferred

  • Obtain a safety certification within the first 6 months of obtaining position.

  • Experience with Intelex and Brady 360

  • And ability to relate to others in an empathetic manner

  • Willingness to work in a team environment

  • Basic analytical and system navigation skills

  • Detail oriented approach to gathering and maintaining information and data, with the ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
