Sutter Health RN - PACU/ENDO/Surgery Center (Per diem-Day/Evening) in Davis, California

Position Overview:

The Registered Nurse in the Acute Care setting manages the patient/family experience through utilization of critical thinking, teamwork, effective communication, and nursing judgment/knowledge/skills.

Qualifications:

Education:

Current licensure California RN or Interim Permitee; BLS-Health Care Provider, ACLS, ande PALS certification required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BS preferred.

Experience:

At least two years experience in an acute care or critical care areas, and or post-operative care unit. Experience in care of GI endoscopy patients. Moderate sedation certification.

Knowledge:

Must have demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing skills and effective English written and communication skills.

Skills:

Independently practices and prioritize multiple demands in a ever-changing environment. Good interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) and teamwork skills is required.
