Rebuild Center Supervisor
This position is responsible for supervising daily operations of the shop floor; ensuring the shift meets the established safety, quality, and goals while in compliance with all applicable legal and food safety requirements.
Essential Functions
Manages and directs activities of assigned shift, ensuring workload adheres to Niagara’s standard of safety, quality, and throughput.
Maintains effective working relationships with team members through open communication, visibility, and involvement to promote a positive working environment that maximizes safety, employee engagement, productivity, and throughput.
Collaborates with team leadership and shift team members to champion a world-class safety culture.
Trains, coaches, and reviews performance of team members. Partners with Human Resources and Technical Engineering Manager for recruitment, corrective actions, and terminations.
Participates in interviews with hiring managers.
Conducts walkthroughs throughout the shift to ensure safety, quality, and housekeeping compliance by team members.
Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
Interfaces with multiple departments within the organization to ensure customer deadlines and requests are met.
Adheres to the highest standards of company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve rebuild methods, equipment performance, and quality of the rebuilds.
Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
Monitors and reviews assigned team members time and attendance for accuracy.
Develops capital equipment justifications for machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost and cycle times.
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
Ability to work 12 hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule or schedule as dictated by production demand.
Travel requirement: less than 25%

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
4 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
4 Years – Experience in Position
4 Years – Experience managing people/projects
*experience may include a combination of work experience and education
Preferred Qualifications:
6 Years– Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
6 Years – Experience working in Position
6 Years – Experience managing people/projects
*experience may include a combination of work experience and education
- Ability to lift items up to 60 lbs. throughout shift.
