Position Overview:

As an explainer video creator, you will be responsible for producing engaging and informative video content that effectively communicates complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. You will work on a project basis, collaborating with our US based client to understand their specific needs and objectives, and then translating those requirements into compelling visual stories.

This position will take place over the course of a minimum of three months with at least 20 deliverables at the end of the period.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly grasp the subject matter provided by the client, whether it's a product, service, process, or idea, and distill it into easily understandable concepts for the target audience.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop clear and engaging scripts that effectively convey the key messages of the video while maintaining the audience's interest throughout.

• Create visual storyboards that outline the flow of the video, including scene composition, character design, and key visual elements.

• Utilize animation software and graphic design tools including Adobe After Effects to bring the storyboard to life, incorporating animations, illustrations, and other visual effects to enhance the overall message.

• Collaborate with voiceover artists to ensure that the tone and pacing of the narration align with the desired style and messaging of the video.

• Manage project timelines effectively, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time and within budget constraints.

• Conduct thorough reviews of the final product to ensure accuracy, consistency, and overall quality before delivering to the client.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in video production, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work in explainer videos or similar content.

• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects or similar.

• Excellent scriptwriting skills with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear and engaging narratives.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with clients to understand their needs and objectives.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
