About the Team: The ZF Garrett team supports packaging and light assembly of braking, electronics, and steering products for automotive service distribution. The EHS Specialist will be responsible for maintaining safety, environmental and security compliance throughout the facility through program development, training, auditing and driving continuous improvement. A key to success for this role is strong EHS skills, involved presence on the floor and intermediate level with Microsoft systems.

What you can look forward to as an EHS Specialist:

  • Compile data for OSHA compliance

  • Manage Workers Compensation related issues

  • Develop training programs as required

  • Provide Safety/Environmental communications

  • Serve as a representative for Corporate/Global Safety and Health activities

  • SoFi reporting and assist with implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001

Your profile as an EHS Specialist:

  • Bachelors Degree in Safety, Science or Technical Field. Extensive experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Proven knowledge of OSHA regulations

  • Experience with EPA

  • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills

  • Intermediate experience with ERP Systems and Microsoft Suite
