Description

As an HR Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the human resources department of our esteemed construction client. You will work closely with HR managers and executives to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success and growth of a dynamic construction company.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.

  • Coordinate new hire orientations and assist in onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless transition for new employees.

  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.

  • Assist in benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.

  • Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating employee training programs and events.

  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including drafting correspondence, preparing reports, and maintaining filing systems.

  • Assist in maintaining compliance with employment laws and regulations.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • Previous experience in an HR assistant or administrative role preferred.

  • Knowledge of HR functions and best practices.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Experience working in the construction industry is a plus.
