Job Description

Based in Irvine, CA

Skyworks is seeking a responsible and motivated Senior Administrative Assistant who will provide pivotal administrative support to executives and an employee base of over 200. We are looking for an individual with proven experience in administrative roles, who will maintain a highly organized and productive work environment.

The ideal candidates will be proactive, can communicate effectively and reliably, have a strong commitment to go above and beyond, have a proven track record of exemplary accountability, and can think and react quickly on their feet.

Responsibilities

Provide Executive Support including:

  • Manage and prioritize complex calendars, including scheduling appointments and meetings.

  • Arrange complex and detailed domestic and international travel plans.

  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Provide Event Planning and Coordination including:

  • Help with planning business unit events, including meetings and social gatherings.

  • Coordinate logistics such as venue booking, meal planning, transportation, and audiovisual requirements.

    Provide Clerical Support including:

  • Assist with setup and coordination of candidate interviews.

  • Review, track, or complete expense reports.

  • Track and maintain basic office inventory.

  • Collaborate with other administrative staff, share best practices, and provide backup support as needed.

    General responsibilities

  • Prioritizes conflicting needs, handle matters expeditiously and proactively.

  • Follow through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.

  • High level of integrity, discretion, professionalism, and commitment to maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

Ability to organize, multitask, deal with interruptions, and prioritize.

Extreme attention to detail, timeliness, and excellence.

Exceptional overall communication skills.

Ability to work independently, without immediate direction, or supervision.

High sense of urgency and initiative.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build internal and external relationships.

Able to handle confidential information with discretion.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, e.g. Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Anticipate challenges and proactively identify solutions to address operational and administrative issues.

Troubleshoot technical issues independently or escalate them to the appropriate IT support channels.

Highly resourceful and responsive.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in business administration or related field is preferred.

5+ years of experience providing exceptional administrative support is required.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $59,600 - $104,100 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
