Sutter Health Lead Engineer (Full Time) in Jackson, California

  • AS degree in mechanical/electrical technology or equivalent education is required such as but not limited to: mechanical/electrical trade school apprenticeship completion or equivalent education / experience.

  • Four years at journey level operating or stationary engineer or equivalent required.


  • BS degree in mechanical/electrical technology or equivalent education is preferred.


  • Knowledge and ability to operate shop tools, stationary and portable shop tools.

  • Understanding of refrigeration, hydraulics, computers, and basic electrical test equipment.

  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.

  • Works with electrical, mechanical and other complex systems.

  • Must be able to prioritize work and complete tasks independently without supervision.
