Job Summary:
Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute & HCA Midwest Heath are seeking an oncologist with an interest in acute leukemia and benign hematology in Kansas City.
Qualified Candidates:
Interest in supporting programmatic development for blood cancer along with two other partners
Board certified or board eligible hematologist, hematologist oncologist or medical oncologist w/hematology interest (acute leukemia, malignant hematology, & benign hematology specifically)
Clinician will support daily inpatient rounds and 24 hour call coverage 1-2 weeks per month
Eligible for state licensure in Missouri

Program:
Growing team of two physicians, two advanced practice providers, dedicated nurse navigator, clinical research coordinators, social worker, and oncology director
Dedicated ancillary support including PharmD and two hematopathologists onsite
Apheresis services are onsite and available
16-bed inpatient oncology unit and 6-bed malignant hematology and cell therapy suite
19-bay outpatient infusion suite with 2 private procedure rooms & 10 exam rooms
Radiation, medical oncology, surgery on site and available
