Providence St. Joseph Health Respiratory Care Practitioner - PKIMC Respiratory Therapy *Regular and Temporary in Kodiak, Alaska

Provides Respiratory Therapy services to patients as prescribed by Physicians in conjunction with established policies and procedures. Provides diagnostic testing for patients with cardiopulmonary difficulties. Provides professional Respiratory care for assigned patients in Home Health.

This posting is for multiple openings of a Respiratory Care Practitioner at Providence Kodiak Alaska Medical Center in Kodiak, AK. We are hiring for the following positions in the Respiratory Therapy Department:

1) Respiratory Care Practitioner - Full-time, 0.9 FTE, Variable Shift, 36 Hours Per Week

$10,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Relocation Assistance available for eligible hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

2) Respiratory Care Practitioner - Temporary, 1.0 FTE, Variable Shift, 40 Hours Per Week

Required Qualifications:

  • Upon hire: National Certified Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care Or
  • Upon hire: National Registered Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Within 90 days of hire National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care.
  • 1 year clinical experience as Respiratory Therapist.
