Job Description

This position supports the administration of the SUITE Training Program. The SUITE Training Program develops and delivers SUITE awareness materials, training and communications for activities supporting SUITE Policies and Guidance for IT Investment Management, Project-Program and Portfolio Management and System Engineering, as well as the Project Portfolio Management tools. The program and services are utilized by Agencies, DTMB Areas and Third-Party Providers / Vendors.

This position provides input and helps support the SUITE Training program, prepares awareness, communications, and training materials, coordinates Subject Matter Experts who contribute to the development and delivery of sessions, and assists with the day-to-day administration of the SUITE Certification Program.

  • Thorough knowledge of training program administration principles, concepts, and practices.

  • Thorough knowledge of instructional design to develop clear, crisp, understandable communications, awareness, and training materials.

  • Thorough knowledge of Learning Management Systems used for the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting and delivery of training programs and courses.

Required Education and Experience

Education

Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.

Departmental Analyst 9

One year of professional experience.

Departmental Analyst P11

Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.

Alternate Education and Experience

Departmental Analyst 9 - 12

Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.

Vacation and Sick Leave:Eligible full-time employees receive between15 and 35 personal daysand13 sick daysper year that may be rolled over to the following year if not used. Eligible employees also receive an additional day each year for community service or school functions.

Paid Parental Leave:Eligible employees can take12 weeks of paid leaveimmediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.

Paid Holidays:Eligible employees receive 13 or 14 paid holidays each year including New Year’s Eve and Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve and Day.
