Overview Working one-on-one with preschool children with autism.

Because of the extensive training, we require that all potential employees be able to make a 2-semester commitment. We currently need more instructors to work this summer and fall! We are interviewing USU students now for training positions this spring and summer-so please reply ASAP if you are interested! (Future USU students also welcome to apply.)

Responsibilities ASSERT Preschool Instructors are expected to:

  • Work scheduled shifts with assigned students each week.
  • Be available to cover back-up shifts as needed.
  • Attend weekly team meetings with case manager.
  • Be professional in interactions with parents and other staff.

Qualifications Staff must be available for at least 6 shifts (at least 6 in the AM or 6 in the PM sessions) and make a 2-semester commitment for either Summer 2024 and Fall 2024 -OR- Fall 2024 and Spring 2025)

Typical Shift Times:

  • 7:45am - 10:00am
  • 10:00am -12:15pm
  • 12:30pm - 2:45pm
  • 2:45pm - 5:00pm

Advertised Salary commensurate with experience

ADA Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes.  The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
