Job Posting: Healthcare Registration Specialist

Location: Los Angeles, CA 90017

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (No Weekends!)

Position Summary: Are you ready to be the cornerstone of patient care in a vibrant healthcare environment? Join our team as a Healthcare Registration Specialist. In this role, you'll excel at pre-registration and registering patients, ensuring accurate upfront collections and providing hospitable service. Your dedication will ensure that patient, physician, and hospital needs are met seamlessly.

Specific Skills Needed:

• Quick learner with strong adherence to policies and directions.

• Proficient in Word, Excel, and adept at navigating multiple screens efficiently.

• 1+ year of medical office/hospital experience preferred.

• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Strict adherence to HIPAA laws.

• Typing speed of 45+ wpm.

• strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent customer service and phone etiquette.

• Willingness to travel to off-site locations (Outpatient only).

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience in a high-volume healthcare facility or medical office setting.

• High school graduate or equivalent; continuing education preferred.

• strong medical terminology and insurance knowledge.

• Valid driver's license for off-site travel (Outpatient/Financial counseling only).

• bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin preferred.

• Completion of HPE comprehensive training program and certification.
