JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology within the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is recruiting a Pediatric Allergist/Immunologist to join our team. We are looking for candidates with a track record of clinical excellence and academic contributions as demonstrated through training and/or practice experience. Members of the Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology provide state-of-the-art care to children with immune-mediated disorders such as allergies, asthma, immunodeficiencies, and rheumatologic diseases. Our experts are committed to understanding the causes of these diseases and using this information to prevent and develop better treatments. We envision a circular pipeline of discovery from the bedside to the laboratory and back to the clinic, leveraging the strengths of the broader UW-Madison research community and applying cutting-edge technology to achieve new and personalized treatments for children. In addition, division faculty provide integrated and conjoint clinical and research training in pediatric and adult allergy and immunology that includes both research and clinical medicine that will result in improved patient care and the development of future clinicians and academicians. The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is a vibrant academic department comprising more than 200 faculty members in 16 subspecialty divisions. The department promotes and enhances the health of children through outstanding clinical care, exemplary education of pediatric trainees, performance of cutting-edge research, and vigorous advocacy.
