Trinity Health Assistant Nurse Manager - Post Acute Care in Berwyn, Illinois

Description:

This position will have shifts at MacNeal Hospital and Gottlieb Memorial Hospital and have an office at both facilities.

The Assistant Nurse Manager of Post Acute Care is a registered professional nurse, conversant with the nursing process, who has accountability when the nurse manager is not present during the assistant nurse manager’s shift. The assistant nurse manager will support the nurse manager in developing long term planning, human and fiscal resources in a designated patient care area. Compliance with all regulatory groups to ensure safe, ethical and quality patient/family centered care is required.

The Assistant Nurse Manager of Post Acute Care promotes MAGIS behavior within the organization and patient care area; and supports various health system-sponsored programs. Recognizes, promotes and consistently applies knowledge of 14 Forces of Magnetism.

What's required:

  • Associates degree in nursing, Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 1-2 years of previous job-related experience, 3-5 years preferred.

  • 1-2 years designate/charge nurse experience is preferred.

  • Current Registered Nurse License State of Illinois

  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) preferred.

  • Specialty certification in a clinical or functional area of nursing granted by a national nursing organization is preferred.
