Become a pivotal part of our team as a Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health (QESH) Advisor at Sulzer, where we're driving towards sustainability every day.

You will collaborate closely with our ESH & Quality Manager, spearheading initiatives that uphold our commitment to Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health across various projects. With a focus on both office and operational settings, you'll play a vital role in fostering a culture of QESH compliance while contributing to our journey towards a more sustainable future.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Serve as a role model for Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health practices both in the office and on-site projects

  • Deliver training and communication to increase awareness of Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health topics

  • Promote Sulzer's Safe Behaviour Program to foster a positive culture around Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health

  • Provide expertise to ensure Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health considerations are integrated into project planning and execution

  • Conduct audits and safety walks to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and identify areas for improvement

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant qualification in Environment, Safety, and Health, such as NEBOSH General Certificate.

  • Certified / Experience working with relevant systems (ISO 9001, 45001, 14001, 3834 and conduct & prepare for VCA/SCC-P).

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an Environment, Safety, and Health role.

  • Previous experience in industries such as Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or energy is preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and IT literacy

  • Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders

  • Motivation and drive to achieve results through collaboration

  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed

The team in Middlesbrough are in part of the Chemtech Division with Sulzer. Join our team to collaborate closely with client safety leads, attend safety meetings, and uphold paramount safety standards, fostering a culture of safety and well-being across all Sulzer teams, both on-site and in-office.
