Job Purpose: Our next Clinical Therapist will expand our work in treating children and youth through play therapy, early childhood mental health services, and general mental health treatment at Wellpoint Care Network while collaborating and learning with other providers interdepartmentally . Duties: Provides effective, evidenced based clinical services to caseload of clients. Develops and effectively implements treatment plans in conjunction with the client, and his/her parent(s) if applicable. Demonstrates client progress on treatment plan goals. Employs a trauma informed care perspective in treatment. Demonstrates family investment and participation in treatment planning and ongoing treatment. Assists families in crisis resolution and de-escalation through developing appropriate crisis plans. Maintains a consistent productivity standard as defined on employment. Helps the individual and family negotiate access to services and resources in the community and minimize barriers. Reviews the regulatory standards of DHS 35, DHS 95 and S 51.61 and abides by all standards Qualifications: Master\'s degree in social work or equivalent, LCSW or LPC required. Willingness to train the right individual ,two years post masters experience providing individual, child, group and family therapy preferred. Experience in early childhood mental health preferred or made available. Training in evidence-based play therapy modalities preferred or made available. Experience working with children under the age of 8 preferred Must be honest, dependable, and able to meet deadlines; Self-motivated and able to work independently. Valid driver\'s license with an acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and meet agency auto insurance requirements. Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills, detail oriented, highly effective verbal, and written communication skills.
