Job Purpose: The School Based Mental Health team provides strength based, trauma informed community-based services, in the home, school, and/or at Wellpoint partner locations throughout Greater Milwaukee and the surrounding area. The Child and Family Therapist - SBMH is an integral part of the service team providing psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and supportive collateral services to youth and families in their school or community setting. Duties: Provides community-based individual and family therapy to children. Develops and implements treatment plans in conjunction with the client, his/her parent(s) or caregiver. Collaborates with other providers including SaintA partner organizations. Supports clients and families through therapeutic relationships. Provides Mental Health Consultation to teachers and staff in school setting. Qualifications: Doctorate or Master\'s degree in Clinical Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family and corresponding independent licensure required. Master\'s level LCSW, LPC, or equivalent preferred; LPC-IT, APSW may be considered (supervision of clinical hours provided). Experience providing individual, child, group or family therapy in a school setting preferred. Ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team. Ability to work a flexible/hybrid schedule. Position Details & Extras: Full-Time - with reduced hours in the summer months. Reports directly to Clinical Supervisor.
