New York University Clinical Faculty / Dental Anesthesiologist in New York, New York

NYU Dentistry Oral Health Center for People with Disabilities is seeking a Clinical Faculty / Dental Anesthesiologist with experience in working with special needs patients. Must provide direct patient care as well as supervise anesthesia residents at the Oral Health Center for People with Disabilities.

OHCPD provides care based on a deep commitment to assuring disabled patients, their families, and caregivers that they aren't just cared for, but cared about.

Our dental care providers have the specialized skill sets needed to provide sensitive, essential care for individuals whose disability or disabilities prevent them from being treated in a conventional dental setting. Every component of the center has been designed to accommodate the physical and support needs of our patients, their families, and/or caregivers. And because it provides dental care across the lifespan, the center offers a dental home for disabled patients on an ongoing basis.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $165K - $265K. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.

Ideal candidate must have a valid DDS or DMD License. Successful completion of an accredited Dental Anesthesia Training program. Must all be sensitive to the needs of and possess an interest in working in an academic community that is diverse with regard to gender, race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, sexual orientation or identity, disability status, age, and protected veteran status.
