Job Overview:

TheHome Friendwill perform light housekeeping chores in the home of older adults/disabled adults.

Qualifications:

Required:

• One year experience working with older adults

Preferred:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required

• Exceptional interpersonal skills

Scheduling Requirements:

• 8:30am-3:30pm

• Part-Time

Essential Functions:

• Calls-in when arriving at clients home Calls-out when leaving clients home

• Establishes an efficient working system to ensure a thorough and quality service delivery to clients

• Follows supervisory guidelines in all phases of the position

• Identify and reports any physical or behavioral changes in the client

• Performs specific chores services such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and shopping in accordance with program guidelines

• Submits time sheets weekly for payroll

• Utilizes supervision to problem solve around issues dealing with clients

• Maintain BLS certification
