Insight Global HSE Construction Coordinator in North York, Ontario

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an HSE Construction Coordinator to join one of our largest pharmaceutical clients in the Greater Toronto Area on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will manage the training of lock-out and tag-out of equipment on a new construction project in order to ensure proper safety processes are being followed. They will be responsible for working with the third-party construction organization to manage the installation of the equipment throughout the construction and commissioning and qualification stages.

Skills and Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience working within the health, safety and environment industry

  • 5+ years of experience working on industrial construction projects with a focus on commissioning and qualification of machinery and equipment

  • Experience managing equipment instillation as well as lock-out and tag-out

  • Experience implementing new safety and machinery standards

  • Experience developing safety policies and procedures - Previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry

  • Experience with biosafety null
