Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in California. The selected candidate will be representing clients in personal injury and wrongful death actions, drawing up legal documents, managing and advising clients, and representing them in various legal proceedings. This role also involves attending and taking depositions.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and revise various legal documents as per the requirements of the case

• Attend and take depositions, ensuring all relevant information is accurately recorded

• Manage and advise clients on the legal proceedings, ensuring they are well-informed at all stages

• Represent clients in various legal proceedings, advocating for their interests effectively

• Continuously expand duties as experience is gained

• Maintain a valid driver’s license and vehicle for appearances outside of the office

• Utilize skills in Depositions, Personal Injury Plaintiffs, Litigation - Plaintiff, Discovery, and Jury Trials to effectively carry out responsibilities.

Requirements • Must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• Must be admitted to the state bar and in good standing to practice law

• Proven experience in handling depositions and discovery processes

• Prior experience in representing personal injury plaintiffs is mandatory

• Strong background in litigation, particularly on the plaintiff side

• Proficient in conducting jury trials

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team

• High ethical standards and professional integrity

• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to interpret laws and regulations

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Proficiency in legal research software and tools.
