The role you’ll contribute:

The Occupational Therapist performs Occupational Therapy interventions of patient evaluation and development of plan of care according to accepted standards of practice of AOTA in order to facilitate functional progress and discharge planning of the medically complex patient population while maintaining departmental productivity. Reports to Manager.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Exhibits clinical accuracy in performing patient evaluations (re-evaluations) and interprets results within scope of licensure.

· Effectively performs chart review and data collection.

· Exhibits correct and appropriate knowledge of medically complex diagnoses, laboratory and radiology results, and contraindications/precautions.

· Demonstrates innovation, skill and efficiency in developing and implementing patient treatment programs for a varied caseload including: Orthopedic, Neurological, Pediatric and other patient populations.

· Demonstrates appropriate delegation of tasks according to state, federal and JACHO regulations.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

· Bachelor’s degree

· FL OT license

· AHA BLS
