As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for outstanding customer service. You'll be the front line in interacting with our customers, ensuring their inquiries are addressed promptly, and any issues they encounter are resolved efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with inquiries via email and telephone.

• Coordinate pickups and oversee the preparation and loading of shipments from Honolulu to Los Angeles, working closely with the Warehouse.

• Prepare manifests and delivery receipts for vessels docking in Honolulu and process arrival notifications.

• Handle requests for order refusals, re-consignments, redeliveries, and more.

• Provide customers with daily and monthly activity reports.

• Follow up on proof of delivery (POD) from interline partners.

• Update customer websites with delivery status and report OS&D status daily.

• Process claims and handle accessorial/consolidation billing.

• Offer rate quotes and maintain accurate delivery receipts and POD logs.

• Support Sales Personnel with information on rush requests, delivery status, credit information, and updates.

• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; six months related experience preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedural manuals.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
