Summary You will serve as a ELECTRIC POWER CONTROLLER in the UTILITIES DIVISION ELECTRICAL BRANCH of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII. Responsibilities You will receives trouble calls 24 hours daily and refer to those of concerned for appropriate department action. You will issue orders by radio or phone relating to substation operation switching, metering or removal and return to service of lines and equipment. You will dispatch High Voltage Electricians to trouble areas during emergency. You will take over assigned watch and check on power distribution patterns by reviewing load demand records, examining dispatch of power orders, and observing conditions reflected on master diagrams and panel boards. You will operate a central switchboard to actuate remotely controlled circuit breakers, transformers, and switches to regulate and maintain correct voltage on distribution lines.
