Description/Job Summary

MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR AM/PM SHIFT AND WEEKENDS

The Food Service Workers perform general housekeeping duties, sets up, operates, maintains and cleans equipment; sets up serving lines, garnishes food items, serves and applies food protection and sanitation measures as needed.

Essential job duties:

1. Ensures that the dining facility is cleaned and sanitized daily

2. Performs work IAW the cleaning schedule

3. Maintains compliance of sanitation and food safety standards

4. Ensure that proper procedures, temperatures and time periods are adhered to during food preparaton and serving

5. Inspects dining area, dishwashing room, pot and pan area, self-service area, and outside area

   Position Qualifications:

6. High School diploma or equivalent

7. Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures, sanitation and the operation of standard kitchen equipment

8. One (1) year work experience desired

Supervisor Experience:

1. One (1) year in a supervisory or management role in the food service function is desired

Skills:

1. Must be able to train and cross-train employees

Physical Demands:

1. Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs

2. Must walk and be on your feet the majority of your shift

HOURLY RATE: $17.50
