Insight Global Imaging Tech/ Rad Tech in Phoenix, Arizona

Job Description

A large university in Arizona is seeking a skilled Imaging Tech/ Rad Technologist to join their Clinical Research team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations such as Ultrasound and DEXA scans. You will be checking for muscle movement, venous structures, and arterial stiffness. You will prepare research participants for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety. You will operate and maintain radiologic equipment, adjusting settings to improve image quality. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals on the team to interpret imaging results and maintain accurate participant records and imaging data.

Skills and Requirements

-3+ years of experience as an Imaging Technician or Rad Technologist

-Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT) OR Phlebotomy Certification (CPT)

-Experience working with various types of imaging equipment (ultrasound necessary; others would be great)

-Must be compassionate and a team player -Bariatric experience or Cardiac experience null
