We are in search of a Patient Access Registrar for our healthcare facility located in Phoenix, Arizona. This role operates within the industry of Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance, specifically focusing on patient registration. The job function involves verifying patient demographics, obtaining necessary signatures, and insurance information, among other tasks. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in customer service, documentation, compliance, and insurance.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.

• Register patients by obtaining and verifying demographic and insurance information accurately.

• Coordinate patient appointments and schedules efficiently.

• Liaise between patients, medical staff, and insurance providers to ensure seamless care delivery.

• Educate patients on hospital procedures, policies, and available resources.

• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

• Perform administrative tasks such as scanning documents and updating electronic records.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry and navigation of electronic systems.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or related field

• Healthcare-specific background preferred but not required

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent
