About the Position:

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students near Plymouth Meeting, PA. The caseload will consist of K-5th elementary school students and it is anticipated to include approximately 50 students total. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations to assess speech and language disorders that impact academic achievement.

• Collaborating with key stakeholders to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that address each student's specific needs.

• Delivering direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students.

• Working in close partnership with classroom teachers and interdisciplinary teams to support students' speech and language development.

• Continuously monitoring student progress through observations and data collection, allowing for necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

• Making eligibility and dismissal determinations as indicated by data.

• Maintaining transparent and regular communication with caregivers, offering updates and strategies to foster continued growth at home.

• Other duties as assigned

  Qualifications:

• School-based and/or pediatric experience.

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

• Valid PA SLP license from the Pennsylvania Board of Speech-Language Pathologists.

• Valid PA Education Specialist Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
