Job Description

- Insight Global is searching for a Data Configuration Management Specialist to sit on site at Point Mugu. The Data Configuration Management Specialist is responsible for both data analyst and system administrator tasks. This person will handle anything domain related, including Active Directory, Windows Desktop management, and Microsoft Server. A strong professional background in Linux is highly preferred. On the data side, the candidate must be able to read and understand various scripts for troubleshooting purposes. The team currently has custom scripts that already exist and the Configuration Management Specialist will be able to take recorded flight data, transfer the data to servers on premises, have it automatically format, and then distribute the results of that data to the proper team.

Skills and Requirements

* Active Secret clearance

* Associates degree + 8 years, Bachelors degree + 4 years, or a Masters degree + 2 years of experience

* Active DOD 8570 certification (Sec+ preferred) -- this will also count towards 2 years of experience!

* Familiarity with Windows Server OS, Windows 10 and Symantec Backup Exec

* Working knowledge of VMWare and virtual environments, configuration and use of redundant array of independent disks (RAID) and components, data downloading and duplication, tape backup procedures and data archiving is highly desired * A background supporting a platform in military systems or weapons systems

* Linux+ certification null
