Position Overview

As a Scheduler, you will get the opportunity to work closely with construction and engineering operations as you develop engineering and construction schedules. You will be responsible for building and updating schedules as various milestones and project deliverables are completed or added to the scope of work. Provide updates to key project team members on the progress of project progression.

Location

This position will be in Portland, OR at our Regional Project Office.

*Willing to consider candidates living in Salt Lake City, UT with expected travel up to 90%. Hybrid/Remote options available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

We are looking for the ideal candidate to perform planning & scheduling activities utilizing InEight and Primavera and an ability to apply a logical progression of construction/engineering knowledge to support progressive distribution projects in the Pacific Northwest.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Providing and/or overseeing critical path method scheduling (via Primavera) for construction projects.

  • Developing schedules for estimates and current projects.

  • Preform company scheduling procedures and reporting.

  • Coordination with project teams to assess reporting, identify risk, and create accurate forecasts.

  • Providing scheduling analysis for delays and impacts to identify and mitigate project risk.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in construction management, engineering, logistics or related discipline

  • 5+ years of construction, project controls, logistics or systems engineering experience.

  • Ability to analytically solve problems and a willingness to utilize new software and technology.

  • Advanced usage of Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with Power BI and Primavera (P6).

  • Effective communication (both oral and written), organization, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities.

  • High level of professionalism and standards.

  • Demonstrated work ethic.

  • Must be able to freely access all parts of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments

  • Travel and/or relocation may be required for this position
