RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deluxe Merchant Services is growing. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a company that is seeking innovators to help us take our technology to new heights. As a Senior Software Developer will have the opportunity to be a resource/mentor to Junior Developers on the team. You will define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements.

• Write, code, test, and analyze software programs and applications

• Research, design, document, and modify software specifications

• Collaborate with developers, programmers, and designers in conceptualizing and development of new software programs and applications

• Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems.

• Development and maintenance of business-critical applications and reports

• A ssist in the definition, development, and documentation of software’s business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications

• Assist in defining software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation

  BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or related field; AND 5 years of experience with software development

• Must be 18 years of age or older

  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or software engineering

• Payment Card Industry experience preferred

• Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices

• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws

• Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products
