Job Details The Manager of Finance & Performance Management is a key leader in the department, responsible for the execution and maintenance of current financial planning initiatives built in Stratajazz (operating and capital budgeting, productivity and management reporting). In addition, key contributor in the development and execution of future financial planning strategy through the Stratajazz platform including (but not limited to) quarterly rolling forecast, long-range planning, capital planning enhancements and benchmarking. Duties and Responsibilities: Operating Budget Key contributor for all aspects related to the coordination of the System operating budget and the administration of Strata Jazz, including administrative oversight of budget compilation and consolidation, development and communication of system-wide assumptions (i.e. benefits, projection methodology), development of budget calendar and monitoring adherence to timelines, creation / coordination of creation of centralized budgets (i.e. insurance, depreciation, interest), and administration of system generated calculations (merit increase) Communications to senior leadership Development of materials and presentation to Sr. Leadership and Finance Committee Responsible for the coordination of the Corporate Office/Shared Services budgets Capital Budget Administrative oversight of budget compilation and consolidation through Strata platform, including ongoing routine maintenance of budgets and related data Development and communication of system-wide assumptions Development of materials and presentation to Sr. Leadership and Finance Committee Development of budget calendar and monitoring adherence to timelines Reporting on Actual vs. Budgeted capital Spend Coordinate with operating leaders to develop capital spending forecasts to inform cash flow Strata Platform (excludes Decision Support) Responsible for all aspects of the administrative oversight including user maintenance, system maintenance, data integration and reconciliation functions Performance Management (PM) Coordinate with entity specific Finance Managers and ensure consistent process/cadence of PM process administered throughout system Liaise with entity specific finance managers to manage PM data and updates (UOS definitions/Review, target review etc.) Responsible for Corporate Office PM review and administration (commentary review / follow-up, reporting materials, entity specific meetings). Data reconciliation / publishing of MR/PR metrics and data at agreed upon timelines System reporting for senior leadership as needed Key contributor in building our future Strata modules including Strategic Planning Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting, finance or other related field required. Thorough understanding of the healthcare industry particularly with financial data and its application to business operations Excellent analytical, organizational and managerial skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting. Strategic thinker with the ability to suggest creative ideas and strategies. A proactive and enthusiastic leader. Requires five to seven years of healthcare finance experience (accounting, planning, costing or other related experience). Stratajazz experience preferred. Managerial experience preferred. Salary Range USD $125,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
