Sutter Health Supply Chain Site Leader III (Director) in Roseville, California

Position Overview:

The Director of Supply Chain Services provides overall management and oversight for all pertinent supply chain functions within an individual facility/affiliate. Management responsibilities include all supply chain operations including receiving, shipping, distribution inventory management and related activities. Serves as primary liaison between region and affiliate.

Responsible for ensuring optimal provision and coordination of services and resources for assigned affiliate. Identifies and implements various cost savings projects related to supply chain and strives for a high degree of standardization of processes, products, and systems.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS OR the equivalent combination of education and experience

• Healthcare management experience in personnel management, budget preparation and planning for multiple departments, development and monitoring of staff productivity systems, quality improvement and establishment of quality standards and methods, and development of other key management control systems for multi-departments or affiliates

• Demonstrated success in major project coordination and implementation of successful cost containment initiatives

• Experience with Just-in-Time (JIT) and computerized Materials Management/Supply Chain systems

• Extensive knowledge of Materials Management/Supply Chain and other related functions in acute or alternate healthcare settings

• Knowledge of healthcare products and equipment, inventory sources, alternate sources of supply and distribution systems, and new or emerging trends in the industry

• Experience in establishing work processes, quality and productivity standards, and policies and procedures designed to ensure optimal departmental performance

• Ability to coordinate processes for numerous sites over a wide geographical area and to prioritize multiple demands and projects

• Excellent team leadership and organizational skills

• Flexibility, adaptability, creativity and innovation

• Project management and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification with the Association of Healthcare Resource and Materials Management (AHRMM) is strongly preferred

• Demonstrated experience in a comparable sized acute or alternate healthcare organization as a Materials Manager is desired
