Sutter Health Employer Relations Specialist in Sacramento, California
Drives revenue to Sutter Health in a manner that achieves the organization’s strategic goals and objectives. Builds relationships with area employers to engage them in preventive health, influence their managed care decisions, influence their choice in occupational medicine providers and develop a database of their insured employees to use in direct, targeted marketing of client services.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education or experience in job-related activities is required.
Professional sales experience in healthcare or related field is required, as typically acquired in approximately 4+ years – demonstrating competence in healthcare-related sales to employers.
Must have local market knowledge and knowledge of healthcare industry trends. Knowledge of/ connection with local employers preferred.Must possess excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, have strong problem solving and ability to project manage multiple tasks, analytical, interpersonal, organizational and prioritization skills. Must have effective computer skills, including use of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation programs. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products is required. Must be a self-starter; be able to meet deadlines and multitask. Qualified candidate will have consultative selling skills and be able to operate comfortably and effectively in front of executives.
Special Working Conditions:
Must be able to travel within Northern California – typically day trips, occasionally overnight. Must provide own transportation and meet CA requirements to drive. Must have current/ valid license to drive in CA.
