Sutter Health Equipment Technician - Sterile Processing (Per Diem) in Sacramento, California

Position Overview:

Cleans and processes non-disposable equipment, and maintains and distributes supplies used by the department.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • HS Diploma Or general education degree (GED) is required.

  • or one to three months related experience and/or training is required.

  • equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Familiar with the use of medical gas cylinders.

  • Able to repair or replace equipment and maintain stock levels.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

  • Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of organization.

  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with lO's and lOO's.

  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement , volume, and distance.

  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
