Chief Probation Officers of California (CPOC) http://www.cpoc.org/ is a non-profit member organization representing the appointed Chiefs of probation in every county in California.  We have a career opportunity for an experienced, passionate, and dedicated LMS Administrator. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The LMS Administrator is responsible for the administration of all Learning Management System (LMS). This position will manage the daily operations of the LMS in accordance with established policies and procedures as well as manage the support of CPOCF staff and external users in these systems. Position is a hybrid work environment (remote and in-person office days as scheduled) * Perform the lead administrator role for CPOCF’s Learning Management System (Genius SIS and Blackboard LMS) * Act as the lead for problem solving technical issues within the LMS * Act as the lead for communicating system capabilities and protocols to CPOCF staff * Act as the lead for communicating LMS needs to vendor * Represent the LMS needs to external partners on joint projects * Work across programs to implement or maintain data policies that will ensure accuracy of system tracking and reporting * Work across programs to enhance the systems effectiveness in the organization * Convene and lead workgroups, create/implement policies and monitor, and monitor data quality across multiple systems * Act as the lead on the statewide LMS group (focus on Blackboard and Genius SIS) * Participate in the development and monitoring of data quality assurance and data cleaning procedures * Convene and lead monthly user meetings and trainings to ensure consistency and quality control  * Assist in maintaining databases that house training and evaluation data * Perform data quality checks and clean ups at various data collection and storage touchpoints * Act as the lead for all reporting needs that pertain to the LMS * Train support staff on systems, procedures, organization policies, etc. * Produce and maintain documentation and tracking procedures * Stay-up-to date on all information regarding LMS and data processes Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Ability to display initiative, organization, meet deadlines, display detail orientation, possess good judgment and common sense * Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing * Ability to display motivation and strong interpersonal skills * Displays strong customer service skills * Ability to interact effectively with co-workers, clients, and study participants * Ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures * Ability to relate well to others * Ability to demonstrate a high level of cross-cultural sensitivity Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, educational technology, communications, or related fields, or similar certified coursework in applicable fields of study * Two years of progressively responsible work experience Preferred Qualifications: * Administrator-level experience managing a learning management system, database, CRM, or similar system * Administrator-level experience with SumTotal Learning Management System * Expertise with the Blackboard and Genius SIS Systems * Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, HTML, CSS queries * Expertise implementing and maintaining technical policies and procedures around data management: data entry, data quality assurance, and data cleanup * Expertise in developing reporting tools for stakeholders * Knowledge of the juvenile justice system, county probation and foster care system Office Skills: * Strong written and oral English communication skills * Strong Excel skills * Knowledge of general office administration * Familiarity with basic office equipment: copy machine, fax, printers, etc. * Intermediate typing and computer skills:  Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and Internet software including Zoom and other conferencing/virtual tools.
