Universal Health Services Mobile Assessment Clinician (RN, MFT, or LCSW) in SACRAMENTO, California

Responsibilities

Heritage Oaks Hospital is a freestanding, 125-bed acute psychiatric hospital dedicated to serving the greater Sacramento area. We provide treatment to teens, adults and seniors living with mental health challenges.

We are currently looking for a Mobile Assessment Team Clinician. In this role you will provide high-quality 5150 assessments, disposition, and limited case management services for clients in emergency departments and on medical floors. Evaluations for assessment, intervention, triage, and teaching shall be provided in a manner consistent with the philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of Heritage Oaks Hospital.

Per Diem, NOC shift Monday-Sunday availability needed!

Qualifications

Education: Minimum required is an associate’s degree in nursing, or master’s degree in social services or behavioral health field and license-eligible.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years licensed experience working in crisis settings with psychiatric patients is required.

Additional Requirements: Valid CA RN, LMFT, or LCSW license; valid CA driver license and clear driving record; current CPR certificate; and Handle with Care trained within 30 days of employment.
