Robert Half Healthcare is looking for a Front desk Coordinator for a Medical office in the Sacramento area. Are you looking to get your career started in the Medical field? Please apply today to work for this emerging company! Duties of this position will include being the face of the office and greeting all patients coming into the facility. 

Additional duties will include checking patients in/out, following up on scheduling appointments, billing, and insurance verification. Prior experience in a Medical office is a plus! Must be success driven and have organizational skills and knowledge of the Medical field.

• Greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries

• Scheduling appointments for patients in accordance with established procedures

• Answering telephone calls in a professional and effective manner within minimum rings

• Acting as a liaison with patients and providers in a compassionate and kind manner

• Making appointments, collecting co-pays, and providing receipt of money

• Ensuring the waiting and reception areas are kept neat and clean; reporting on any damage

• Responsible for insurance verifications with health insurance organizations

• Assisting in the management of patient medical records

  Requirements

Requirements of the position:

• Insurance knowledge

• Medical terminology knowledge

• Answering a multi-line phone system

• Patient Registration

• Scheduling patient appointments utilizing EPIC,

• follow up with reminders for upcoming appointments.

• updating patient demographics, verifying and obtaining authorizations for services.
