Sutter Health Staff Radiation Physicist - Limited Term (Full Time) in Sacramento, California

Position Overview:

Provides clinical radiological physics services.

Qualifications:

Education

Master's degree in Radiological Physics or other physics, chemistry or engineering discipline required. Doctorate in Radiological Physics or other physics, chemistry or engineering discipline preferred.

Licensures and Certifications

American Board of Radiology or American Board of Medical Physics in Therapeutic Radiological Physics certification or equivalent is preferred.

Experience

3-5 years working knowledge of equipment used for dosimetric calculations, treatment aids, special dosimetry, radiation oncology procedures, radiation biology, physiology, anatomy and computer methods required. 3-5 years detailed knowledge of clinical therapeutic radiological physics, mathematics, and national/State rules and regulations on radiation physics and safety required.

Skills and Knowledge
