University of Utah Academic Child and Adolescent Psychiatri in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

The Division of Pediatric Psychiatry and Behavioral Health in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine is recruiting for an Academic Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. The psychiatrist will provide inpatient care for patients admitted to the Behavioral Health Unit at Primary Childrens Wasatch Canyons as an attending physician. The psychiatrist will provide on-call psychiatric coverage by phone during off hours and weekends, and weekend coverage as an attending on the Inpatient Unit. The psychiatrist will also supervise residents and other trainees during elective rotations, and will participate in lectures on the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders in children and adolescents. In addition to clinical service and teaching responsibilities, there is an expectation for academic and scholarly work.The Department and University offers a competitive salary and an unmatched benefits program, including non-contributory retirement contributions of 20.2% of annual salary that vest immediately.
