University of Utah Assistant/Associate Professor in the Ten in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

The University of Utah School of Medicines Department of Human Genetics (www.genetics.utah.edu) is hiring evolutionary genetics faculty to expand its exceptional research strength in this area, recent growth, and the potential for future research growth. In this years recruitment, we are searching for outstanding applicants for one or more tenure-track positions at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor.Competitive candidates will demonstrate an ability to develop independent and vigorous research programs, with the potential to enhance our campus-wide, interdisciplinary evolutionary biology and genome science communities. Applications by investigators, both experimental and theoretical, in all areas of evolutionary genetics and genomics of any organism(s) are encouraged. Investigators with expertise in the following areas are particularly encouraged: microbial evolutionary genomics, vertebrate population genomics, comparative evolutionary genetics, and human evolutionary genomics.
